Villa Diana was conceived as an independent, contemporary residence between Marbella and Estepona. The aim was to create a villa that translates generosity, light and everyday functionality into a calm, architecturally clear form. The result is a home of confident presence that consciously exercises restraint, deriving its quality from space, proportion and materiality.
The location offers privacy within a high-quality, established residential setting, combined with short distances to the coast, golf courses and urban centres. The south-easterly orientation shapes the spatial atmosphere and ensures even light distribution across all levels.
The architectural design of Villa Diana is defined by clear volumes, precise lines and generous openings. Rather than decorative effects, spatial quality takes centre stage. The villa extends across three levels and develops its impact through the deliberate layering of spaces and the interplay of interior, terraces and garden areas.
The main level is organised as a continuous living space. Living, dining and cooking flow seamlessly into one another, forming an open spatial sequence with a direct relationship to the outdoors. Large-format glazing opens views to the terraces and private garden with swimming pool, creating a natural connection between inside and outside.
The private areas of the villa are clearly structured and deliberately understated. Four to five bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, offer retreats with a high quality of stay. Natural materials, generous window surfaces and a balanced technical specification support a pleasant indoor climate and a timeless living atmosphere.
The basement level extends the living concept with flexibly usable areas. This level was designed openly and can be individually interpreted — for example as a fitness area, home cinema, study or additional bedrooms with bathrooms.
The focus during realisation was on durable materials and precise execution. The technical specification is discreetly integrated and supports the architectural ambition without pushing itself to the fore. Kitchen and bathrooms are clearly designed, focusing on functionality, quality and timeless aesthetics.
The outdoor areas were conceived as an integral part of the house. Terraces, garden areas and the swimming pool are arranged to create different zones for spending time. Parking areas for vehicles and restrained exterior lighting complete the overall concept.
